Mooney’s is an Irish-owned and family run business dedicated to new and used cars sales. The Mooney family has sold cars on the Long Mile Road in Dublin since the early 1970s. Autobuy is their online platform developed to accelerate the sale of used cars. The Autobuy technology allows the seller to submit car details, receive emailed quotes, set up appointments to finalise details and receive payment.
The identity was developed around a cursive wordmark, in a bold yellow, blue and white colour palette, that reflects the streamlined nature of the Autobuy process. There are hints of nostalgia too representing Mooney’s 50 years in business.
The project included strategy, messaging, logo, web graphics, posters, billboards, advertising and signage.
