Robert Bourke Architects

Robert Bourke Architects (RBA) is an award-winning Dublin practice that work on a diverse range of projects including homes, community buildings and places for education and work. They celebrate ten years in business in 2020 and reaching that milestone prompted the team to rethink how the practice should be perceived and how they might present themselves in terms of their visual identity.

The first step was to develop a brand strategy for the practice—a statement of intent, what RBA do now, what they aspire to be, and how they communicate that to the world. Using a defined set of values, attributes and client profiles, we positioned RBA as an architectural practice that is socially conscious, environmentally responsible and timeless in its aesthetic. This new vision is the basis for the visual identity.

This was undoubtedly a refresh rather than a rebrand—the core single line logotype was retained, refined and a stacked version developed. We designed a new responsive website to present RBA’s award-winning work, business cards, site signage, office documentation and a book of selected projects which you can see here.
